The glass arrives on site.
The panel dimensions are correct.
The thickness is correct.
There is no visible damage.
But during installation, the holes do not line up properly with the frame or connector.
For a padel court installer, this is one of the most frustrating problems because the glass itself may not actually be wrong.
The problem can be somewhere else in the connection system.
Before blaming the glass panel, check these five points.
1. Is the Hole Position Correct?
Padel court glass is normally processed before tempering, including drilling and edge work.
That means the hole layout needs to match the final court drawing before production begins.
For example, two glass panels can have exactly the same overall dimensions but still be completely different for installation if their hole-center positions are different.
This matters especially when glass is being fixed to:
Steel posts
Cross members
Acrylic connectors
Other court connection points
When reviewing a drawing, do not check only:
1995 × 2995mm - correct.
Also check:
Where are the holes?
A few millimeters in the wrong place can become a much larger problem when several panels need to align along the same structure.

2. Does the Countersunk Hole Match the Fastener?
A hole and a bolt are not separate purchasing decisions.
MIGO's current padel court glass system includes screw fastener kits designed for 10mm and 12mm glass with countersunk holes such as 18/30mm or 20/30mm.
Available configurations include M8 and M10 fasteners.
A typical kit can include:
Bolt
Cap nut
SS304 flat washer
Spring washer

Some configurations also include an additional flat polyamide washer.
The important purchasing question is therefore not:
"Do we have enough bolts?"
It is:
"Are these the correct bolts and gaskets for this hole configuration?"
That is a much better question to answer before installation starts.

3. Is the Acrylic Connector Compatible With the Hole Centers?
This is another detail that can easily be missed.
MIGO supplies several acrylic connector configurations, and they do not share identical dimensions.
For example:
Small Connector
Size: 160 × 50 × 10mm
Slot distance: 120mm
It is designed around a hole-center-to-glass-edge distance of approximately 58mm.
Larger Connector
Size: 213 × 80 × 10mm
Slot distance: 133mm
It is suitable for a hole-center-to-edge distance of approximately 64mm.
90-Degree Connector
Size: 140 × 140 × 10mm
It has elongated slots for M8 or M10 bolt configurations and can be used with 10–12mm glass.
This is why ordering an "acrylic connector for padel glass" is not specific enough.
The connector needs to correspond to the actual glass drilling layout.

4. Is the Steel Frame Where the Drawing Says It Should Be?
Sometimes installers keep measuring the glass because that is the easiest component to check.
But if the panel dimensions and hole positions are correct, the next step should be checking the structure.
Ask:
Are the posts correctly positioned?
Are the fixing points at the specified height?
Is the spacing between structural members correct?
Is the frame aligned before the glass is fixed?
A correctly manufactured glass panel cannot compensate for an incorrectly positioned fixing point.
This is why glass and steel drawings should be coordinated rather than approved independently.

5. Are You Trying to "Make It Fit"?
This is the point where a small installation problem can become a bigger one.
When a hole appears slightly out of alignment, forcing the bolt into position may seem faster than stopping the installation.
That is not a good way to solve a dimensional mismatch.
The glass fixing system includes protective gaskets for a reason: glass should not simply be treated like a steel plate that can be pulled into position by tightening hardware.
If something does not align naturally, stop and identify which dimension is different from the approved drawing.
Check the:
glass → hole → connector → fastener → frame
in that order.
Finding the actual mismatch is more useful than applying more force.
A Better Way to Order Padel Glass
Many installation problems can be reduced before the glass enters production.
Instead of sending only a glass size list, provide the supplier with the complete relevant drawing.
For each glass type, confirm:
Panel information
Glass dimensions
Glass thickness
Tempered or laminated configuration
Quantity
Processing information
Hole diameter
Countersunk dimensions
Hole-center position
Distance from hole center to edge
Edge processing
Connection information
Fastener type
Connector model
Steel fixing position
This gives the glass processor more context.
They are no longer producing an isolated rectangle of glass.
They are producing a panel that needs to fit a specific court system.
What If the Glass Is Already on Site?
Do not immediately assume the entire shipment needs replacement.
Start with one affected installation position and compare it with the approved drawing.
Measure the glass.
Then measure the hole centers.
Then check the connector.
Then check the fixing point on the steel structure.
If one component differs from the drawing, you have found something useful.
If everything matches individually but still cannot be assembled correctly, review the overall installation sequence and structural alignment before proceeding.
The goal is to identify the actual mismatch rather than guess which supplier component is responsible.
The Smallest Dimensions Can Stop the Biggest Panels
Padel glass panels are large.
The dimensions that stop them from being installed can be very small.
A hole center, slot distance, bolt size or fixing point may receive far less attention during purchasing than glass thickness.
On site, those details suddenly become critical.
So before ordering padel court glass, do not ask only:
"What size is the glass?"
Ask one more question:
"What does this glass need to connect to?"
That question links the glass drawing to the rest of the court-and makes the specification much more useful.
