The figures were highlighted by FIP President Luigi Carraro during the Mediterranean Games in Taranto in August 2026, where padel made its debut as a medal sport.
Padel Expands Across More International Markets
The growth is not limited to traditional European padel markets.
FIP reported in June 2026 that it had reached 100 affiliated federations, while official competitions now involve players from a wide range of countries and regions.
