And players notice bounce quality too.
Small Details, Big Problems
Edge polishing is one of those details that sounds minor until it becomes expensive.
A rough edge, tiny chip, or poor finishing quality may not fail inspection immediately. But later, under frame pressure or repeated impact, weak spots can develop into breakage. Overseas replacement is rarely simple-production time, freight cost, and installation downtime all add up.
Fragmentation performance matters as well.
Good tempered glass should break safely and consistently under CE / SGCC compliance standards. Passing certification is one thing. Maintaining stable quality batch after batch is where real manufacturing control shows.
Shipping Is Part of Quality
Glass quality does not end at factory inspection.
Packing matters. Container loading matters too.
Heavy plywood crates, cork spacers, moisture-proof interlayers, edge protection-these things sound basic, but damaged edges during ocean shipping often come from poor packing design, not poor glass itself.
One damaged panel on arrival can delay an entire project.
