7 Checks Before Your Padel Court Ships

Ordering a complete padel court is very different from buying one product.

The glass may be correct. The steel structure may look right. The artificial turf may already be packed.

But if one small connection detail does not match the rest of the system, the real problem may only appear thousands of kilometers later-when installers start assembling the court.

For importers, contractors and padel court distributors, the best time to find a mismatch is before the container leaves the factory.

Here are seven practical checks worth completing before shipment.

1. Match the Glass to the Court Drawing

Start with the glass, but do not check thickness alone.

MIGO supplies commonly used padel court configurations including 10mm and 12mm tempered glass, as well as 6mm + 1.52 PVB + 6mm laminated glass.

Before production or shipment, confirm:

Panel dimensions

Glass thickness and type

Quantity of each panel

Hole quantity and position

Countersunk hole dimensions

Edge processing

Court layout

The important point is simple:

The glass drawing and steel structure drawing should describe the same court.

A correct glass panel with the wrong hole position is still the wrong panel for that structure.

2. Check the Fastener Kit Against the Glass Holes

Bolts are small compared with a 3-meter glass panel, but they deserve the same attention.

MIGO's padel court hardware includes screw fastener configurations for 10mm and 12mm glass with countersunk holes.

Available systems include M8 and M10 configurations, with SS304 metal components and polyamide gaskets depending on the kit.

Before shipping, check the complete combination:

Glass hole → gasket → bolt → washer → structure

Do not treat these as unrelated products.

A buyer should know which fastener belongs to which glass position before the boxes arrive on site.

3. Confirm the Acrylic Connector Model

Not every acrylic connector has the same dimensions.

MIGO currently supplies several configurations, including:

Model 1: 160 × 50 × 10mm
Model 2: 213 × 80 × 10mm
90-degree connector: 140 × 140 × 10mm

The models also use different slot dimensions and hole-center arrangements.

This means an acrylic connector should not simply appear on a packing list as:

"Acrylic connector - XX pcs."

The model and intended installation position should be clear.

For installers, that small detail can save a surprising amount of sorting and checking on site.

4. Verify the Steel and Mesh as One Structure

Glass receives a lot of attention in padel court purchasing, but the surrounding steel system determines where everything actually fits.

According to MIGO's current court specification, the system can include hot-dip galvanized steel structural components and welded mesh fencing. The mesh options include 45 × 45mm and 50 × 50mm spacing, with 4mm wire listed in the product specification.

Before loading, check:

Post type and quantity

Cross tubes

Corner components

Mesh panel quantity

Entry sections

Connection points

Surface/color requirement

Matching hardware

Think in installation zones rather than individual products.

That makes missing parts easier to identify.

5. Don't Order Turf by Color Alone

Blue, green, black or another custom court color may be the first thing a buyer notices.

It should not be the only thing checked.

MIGO's current artificial turf specification includes textured monofilament PE yarn, with options covering 12–15mm pile height, 8000–10,000D Dtex and different turf densities.

Before confirming the order, make sure the selected turf specification-not just a color reference-is recorded.

This becomes especially important for distributors purchasing several courts for different customers.

Two rolls can both be "blue padel turf" and still represent different specifications.

6. Review the Packing Plan Before Loading

A packing list tells you what is being shipped.

A good packing plan should also help you understand how it will arrive.

For glass, MIGO uses protective packing that can include plywood crates or end-cap packing, separators between panels, protective film and cushioning where the glass contacts the crate.

For a complete court shipment, buyers should also think about unloading:

Where are the glass crates?

Which packages contain hardware?

Are small accessories clearly identified?

Which steel parts belong together?

Can installers recognize the components without opening every package?

This is particularly useful when several court sets are shipped in the same order.

7. Do One Final "Installation Test" on Paper

This is the check buyers often skip.

Before shipment, mentally assemble one court using the final documents.

Start at the foundation and work upward:

Steel structure → mesh → glass → fasteners → acrylic connectors → turf → lighting and other accessories

At every step, ask:

"Do we have the correct part, quantity and matching connection for this stage?"

You are not physically building the court.

You are checking whether the shipment makes sense as a system.

If something cannot be clearly matched on paper, it deserves another check before loading.

The Real Buying Question

When sourcing a complete padel court, the question should not only be:

"Is every product included?"

A better question is:

"Will all these products fit together when my installation team opens the container?"

That distinction matters.

Glass, steel, mesh, artificial turf and hardware may come in very different shapes and packages, but on site they become one court.

A complete padel court order should therefore be checked as one coordinated system, not as six separate purchases.

MIGO supplies padel court glass together with matching steel structures, welded mesh fencing, artificial turf, screw fastener kits, acrylic connectors and lighting components.

If you are preparing a new padel court order, you can send us your court drawing or component list. We can help review the glass and matching court components before production.
