A set of padel court glass screw fasteners consists of 5 parts:
1.plastic shoulder washer,
2.screws(bolts),
3.nuts,
4 & 5: flat and spring washers.
1. Plastic shoulder washer: it is a kind of conical shape, it is used to prevent metal screws from directly contacting glass, reducing the risk of cracks from metal-to-glass friction. The color of plastic should washer can be black, white or transparent.
Plastic shoulder washers can be classified into 10mm and 12mm high, used for 10mm and 12mm padel court glass, respectively.
Moreover, for the diameter of countersunk holes of18/30mm and 20/30mm, the specification of the plastic washers is different.

2. Screws(bolts): Generally, stainless steel screws are used, such as 304 or 316 stainless steel, which have good corrosion resistance and can adapt to the environment of outdoor padel courts. Common ones include hexagon socket screws and cross screws. Hexagon socket screws have strong fastening force and beautiful appearance, and are often used in occasions with high requirements for glass fixing; cross screws are easier to install and remove with a screwdriver.
3. Nuts: Used in conjunction with screws to tighten and connect. The material of the nut is usually the same as that of the screw to ensure good fit and strength. There are 2 kinds of nuts: cap nuts and regular nuts (see below).
4 & 5: Washers: Include flat washers and spring washers. Flat washers can increase the contact area between the screw and the glass, disperse the pressure, and prevent the glass from breaking due to excessive local force; spring washers can provide a certain degree of elasticity and prevent the screw from loosening when it is subjected to vibration or external force.
Common specifications of screws
Diameter: Commonly used screw diameters are M6, M8, M10, etc. For padel court glass, M8 and M10 screws are more common and can provide sufficient fastening force.
Length: The length of the screw needs to be determined based on factors such as the thickness of the glass, the installation method, and the fixing structure, and is generally between 20mm and 50mm. For example, if the glass thickness is 10mm, plus the thickness of the mounting frame, you may need to choose a screw with a length of 30mm to 40mm.
